Option 1 for making Changes of Aadhar Card by Online
If you want to change or update your details which are present on your aadhaar card by Online this is the procedure you must follow:-
You can update these details present on your Aadhaar card:-
• Your Name
• Date of Birth
• Residence Address
• Gender
• Contact Information (Mobile Number)
• Email ID

The following are the steps to follow the procedure for Online:
To apply for AADHAAR Card Changes online, you must have a mobile number, as One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to the mobile number
1. Enter your 12 digit AADHAAR Card number
2. Enter the displayed Text Verification code
3. click on “Send OTP” button to receive the OTP to the mobile number which is registered (Note: That OTP is only 15 minutes Valid )
4. The next screen shows tick mark options to change Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Address and Mobile Number in the AADHAAR Card.
5. Check mark boxes against the items which need to be changed in the AADHAAR Card and click on "Submit" button.
6. In the next screen enter the Changes in English as well as your local language
7. Click on "Submit Update Request" button.
8. The next screen will show your entered Changes and it will ask you to confirm the same.
9. If you made any mistakes, click on "Modify" button to go back to the Changes page.
10. If all are Correct what you have Entered then, confirm by tick marking "I confirm..." statement and click on "Proceed" button.
11. The next screen will ask you to upload self-attested supporting documents copies for the requested AADHAAR Card Change.
12. For theself-attested documents copies, mention your name and sign / provide thumbprint
13. For children who are below five years, parent / guardian can fill and sign / provide thumbprint in supporting documents copies, also mention your AADHAAR Card number on each self-attested supporting documents copies.
14. Maximum size allowed for each digital document file is 2 MB
15. File types supported are: .jpg, .pdf, .tiff, .jpeg, .png.
16. After you have uploaded the requested documents, click on "Submit" button to submit the AADHAAR Card to be for the change request.

Option 2 for making Change of details of Aadhar Card by Offline (Through POST only)
If you want to change or update your details which are present on your aadhaar card by offline through Postal method, this is the procedure you must follow:-

Step -1: First of all download the details which are need to updating/Change form from UIDAI website https://ssup.uidai.gov.in/web/guest/ssup-home
In The Self service Update portal page down, Find hyperlink CLICK HERE TO download the Change update form, people can see the form below.
Step- 2: After downloading the Aadhaar card Changes update form; all the details should be filled in capital letters only.
Note: Have to give your present active mobile number as it is compulsory. (In case if you want to use Self Service Update portal, Register mobile number is mandatory)
Step-3: Whatever information you want to get updated weather it is your Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Address, Mobile and Email

Option 3 for making Change of details of Aadhar Card by Enrollment Centers
If some people don’t have idea on Online updates, as well as through postal, in this case like that people they can directly visit nearest Aadhaar enrollment center.,
1. When you visit Aadhaar card enrollment center for the purpose of Aadhaar Changes / update. They will give you one AADHAAR CARD CHANGES/ UPDATE Form
2. fill the required Change fields with check box option
3. Clearly mentioned whatever changes you want to make like, NAME Change, SURE NAME Change, Gender Change, Mobile number change / Mobile number update, and email also.
4. After fill the required corrected fields, you have to submit Proof of Identity and Proof of address (PAN CARD, DRIVING License, Voter ID, Ration Card, Passport) any one of the Document. For reference purpose.
5. Then they will update your correct information into Aadhaar Card portal, and also they will take your Finger prints and photo for security purpose,
6. Now Aadhaar card Changes/ Update process completed,
7. then they will give you one proof of corrected aadhaar enrollment copy,
8. After some days you will receive SMS from AADHAR portal, and then you can download your e-aadhaar card with correct updated information.
