Generate SBI ATM PIN Number Through Online , SMS, IVRS Process


Bank Account is mandatory for each and every individual and corporate for savings and business running purpose. Most of the people will prefer to open account in State bank of India (SBI) which is the India’s largest public sector bank in the country. It is easy to open Bank Account in any SBI Branch with required documents, after opening Bank account within 7-10 working days account holder will get the ATM Card through India post / courier service.

When Account holder receive the ATM Card, after 7 working days have to visit the home branch to receive the ATM PIN Number, if Account holder not visit the home branch, after 90days ATM PIN Will be canceled. This process up to now to receive the ATM PIN

Now State bank of India (SBI) has launched new services to get ATM PIN Without Visit Home SBI Branch those are:
  • ATM PIN Generation through SMS
  • ATM PIN Generation through Internet Banking
  • ATM PIN Generation through IVRS


From the above three Options / services SBI account holder will generate the ATM PIN Number Himself / Herself

Option-1: ATM PIN Generation through SMS
If SBI Account holder wants to Generate ATM PIN through SMS
  • SMS should send in the proffered format from the registered mobile number only
  • Send SMS like this PIN CCCC AAAA
  • Where CCCC refers last 4 digits of your ATM Card number and
  • AAAA refers last 4 digits of your SBI Account Number
  • Then you will get ONE TIME PIN (OTP) on your registered mobile Number
  • That OTP (ONE TIME PIN) valid for 24 hours  you must visit any State Bank  ATM and set Your own ATM PIN,  for PIN Change you need to select Banking > PIN Change

NOTE: If you are not able to visit ant State Bank ATM within 24 hours, need not to worry about this you can send Same Massage again.

Option-2: ATM PIN Generation through Internet Banking
  • If you want to Generate ATM PIN through Internet Banking, you need to log on Internet Banking through onlinesbi.com with net banking user name and password
  • Then from the top menu bar click on e-Services
  • Then select the option ATM Card Services
  • After click on ATM PIN Generation
  • Then you need to authenticate your account with Profile Password or OTP (ONE TIME PASSWORD)
  • Select the Account Number and Card Number
  • Then enter first 2 digits ATM PIN Number created by you followed by 2 digits sent to your registered mobile number through SMS
  • These 4 digits will be your new PIN


Option -3: ATM PIN Generation through IVRS
  • If you want to use this Option you need to call
  • 24X7 toll free help line numbers (1800-425-3800 / 1800-112211 / 080-26599990) from you register mobile Number
  • Then you have to select your preferred language then enter Card Number and enter Account Number
  • Now you will get One Time PIN on your registered mobile Number
  • That OTP (ONE TIME PIN) valid for 24 hours  you must visit any State Bank  ATM and set Your own ATM PIN,  for PIN Change you need to select Banking > PIN Change


Conclusion: from the above 3 options SBI Account Holder will generate ATM PIN Number without visit State bank of India (SBI) Home Branch, and be care full at the time ATM PIN Generation and Keep Remember what number you set as ATM PIN Number.

I am arvind and I want to change my debit pin change but we can't get otp on my Rmn .I want to generate new pin with new card so consult immediate .......Thanks
